Cat Grooms Rat

Molly loves Chiquita ETA: Chiquita (the rat) has sadly passed away. She had a tumor removed in December, and although she made it through the surgery a-ok, the stress from everything took it's toll and she developed a deadly respiratory infection. I had her put to sleep in Febuary '09. Thank you all for your kind comments about this video, she was a special little rat...

@IllegalSmirf I know someone who researched the black plague for Uni – and they showed that the migration pattern for the black Plague moved too fast for it to have been rats.. The fleas migrated on cats, dogs and PEOPLE faster.. The humble rat does not deserve your disdain..

It heard a rumor that rats are good to eat, so it’s giving it a taste test! XD Naw I keed, I’ve seen a lot of these where animals treat other species of animals as children, lovers, or whatever, it’s getting to where it’s not so rare anymore, in my opinion it’s cool, it shows that some animals just don’t give a damn about what species they or the other animals are.

If the rat was dead its tail would of been stiff and would’nt move when she pets it.

@illegalsmirf Wild rats maybe but not domesticated rats.
Besides, rats never actually had the plague, it was the fleas on them. Those fleas where not only on rats but on cats and dogs too.

@illegalsmirf That doesn’t apply to domesticated rats.

The only bad thing about (domestic) Rats is they don’t live long, but a damn useless turtle can live up to 100 years!

@aublet Hooded love! If your rats are like mine they can go into grooming hypnosis if they’re being groomed by someone they like. I assume it’s like a nice massage.
