Question by Logan: I want to take my finacee to Disney World for our honeymoon. How do I arrange that through Disney Travels?
She really wants to go to Disney World and she claims that there are honeymoon packages or at least something along those lines. I have no idea how to do this and I really want to surprise her.

There are honeymoon packages.

There's a website that should help you out with figuring out the packages and everything.
I hope this helped, and I hope you have fun.

just go on the disney web site or call up the disney reservation line.
    check out site below.
and go to your public library and get books out on WDW. there is one for honeymooners and couples.

I suggest the Animal Kingdom Lodge resort. It is beautiful and quiet. get a Savannah view room.

    First of all congrats.

Second we did our Honeymoon at Disney and this is what I suggest.

Disney does have honeymoon packages but personally I found most of it to be a waste of money. If you have the money what I would suggest is just book a normal vacation and maybe purchase one of the packages they can put in your room. To be honest they are expensive too, but if you have the money they can be a nice surprise.

You can purchase them through Disney Floral and Gift and they will have them in your room for you. Here is the webpage: http://www.disneyflorist.com/category/occasions/loveanniversary/display

For a Honeymoon Couple I would suggest the Ears to the Bride and Groom package. It comes with Honeymoon Ears for you guys to wear, sparkling wine, two types of cheese spread, crackers, chocolate and two Disney themed glasses. Its only $ 124 and would be a nice surprise for her to come into the room and see it.

As far as which resort to stay it really depends on how much you have to spend and what you enjoy. For example if sitting out on a balcony at sunset while watching wildlife walk by I would go with the Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you enjoy a tropical setting I would go with the Polynesian. If you enjoy more of just a normal hotel type setting go with maybe the Contemporary.

Here is all of your options. I would just sit down together and look at how much you want to spend and what type of environment you want. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/

Another suggestion… MEAL PLAN MEAL PLAN MEAL PLAN!!! If you were just going for fun you might be able to do without it but on your honeymoon it is a must because a nice sit down meal once a day be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner is just wonderful. Go with the plan that gives you one snack, one quick serve and one sit down a day. Also make your reservations ASAP as the nice places can fill up fast. It comes down to about $ 80 a day total for two adults. For our honeymoon we were eating $ 80 to $ 150 a day in food. We went again this year (non-honeymoon) and one dinner alone was a little over $ 90 so the entire meal plan for the day and then some was paid for in one meal. The only thing the meal plan does not cover is tips but you just need those at the sit down places. Snacks are more or less anything in the parks under $ 8.00. Hit the candy shop, go get a milkshake, snack by the pool, whatever you want. Overall I say Epcot has the best food places… if you can get into the Steak House in Canada, one of the top food joints there. Each of the quick serves and sit downs also come with a drink and a sweet so that cost is covered too.

I would also suggest a park hopper pass.

When you check in at whatever resort make sure they give you honeymoon buttons. If you wear them around the park cast members will treat you great. We got a few extra free things and even was asked to be in the parade at Animal Kingdom. Sadly we had to pass on that and I am still kicking myself for doing so. :)

There is tons more I could suggest but without knowing your budget or the food you like to eat it is kinda hard.

If you have other questions to ask just pop me a message.

    Have a wonderful time!!!
