Hello, my good friend is Slovakia is getting married. I won't be able to attend as I live in a different country, but I would still like to send her some money as a gift. My question is, what is the typical amount of money that friends in Slovakia give each other as a wedding gift?

Unless the newlyweds explicitly wish otherwise, it is preferable to not give money and buy a gift instead but if you do want to give money, the amount varies a lot, anywhere between 50 and 500 euros, a hundred or two being the standard amount from a close friend.
