How much money should I save to go out of the country for my honeymoon?

Question by Yeahh: How much money should I save to go out of the country for my honeymoon?
I want to go to Greece with my fiancée when we are married.
I've researched online, and it looks like I'll have to save up about $ 6,000. Does this sound right? About $ 2000 for the flight and $ 4000 for the hotel and spending money.

Should I save 6? Or how much would you recommend?

    I spend about Euros 2500 or about US$ 3000 in Greece in May and June for two weeks with quite a lot of travelling around, meals in restaurants every day, some car hire, but only staying in mid level accomodation. $ 4000 should get you quite luxurious accomodation for two weeks. Note that is usual in Greece for hire cars to be stick shift unless you get a very expensive one.

    $ 6,000 sounds about right.
