A few years back
I did an analysis of
Elton John's "Rocket Man"
for my AP english class
should work for you too

Music by elton john
Lyrics by bernie taupin
Available on the album honky ch√Ęteau

She packed my bags last night pre-flight
Zero hour nine a.m.
And i'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much i miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight

And i think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I'm not the man they think i am at home
Oh no no no i'm a rocket man
Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone

Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
And all this science i don't understand
It's just my job five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man

And i think it's gonna be a long long time...

Poem – Pretty Dark bu the double meaning is obvious (read every other line) o.O

The more I think of you, the more I
Love you; I cannot see how any one could
Hate you. You have always been to me an
honest, faithful friend, and I hope my love is not an
Object of contempt. It is true that Once I had said
I would never marry, but that was before
I loved you. The assertion you know was
uttered in a bragging manner, in fact not but
a lie, and I do not know why I made it. If I
could even pluck up enough courage to
offer my hand I know very well you
would be surprised and I doubt if you
would accept it. I do not think I would
listen to a refusal from your lips and
thus make my whole life miserable. To die
without ever expressing my love for you
would be preferable to that. If you write to me
I shall be happy, but if you do not
I shall be miserable and gloomy, your letters
are a source of pleasure and a failure to them
always make me feel like committing suicide.
