A nice bottle of bubbly (not yr cheap cr.p) . If they've been married 30 years then they need it to make each other look a bit blurred!.
What do you think? Answer below!

Get them a cutlery set.. Not too expensive, but branded.
A then and now picture frame. (1st link)
A personalised 30th W/A newspaper. (2nd link)
Personalise candles (3rd link)
A whole pile of gift ideas (4th link)
* A cruis , Hire a photographer to take photos of the family then make a nice sweet album , Or throw them a small party ? Good Luck *
if your in britain then it has to be something containing a pearl, if your not then it can be something with amethyst
ie a crystal statue holding a pearl or amethyst etc etc
Why don’t you get them a vintage paper from the day they were married. You can get these on the net with next day delivery.
I too am thinking about what to get for my friend’s parents’ 30th anniversary. Thanks for the question.
http://www.thegiftexperience.co.uk/gifts/wedding-anniversary-gifts-anniversary-gifts/30th_anniversary_gifts/index.html the 30th anniversary is pearl
I’d say a nice bottle of bubbly and chocolates/flowers for the Mrs’s.
I’m sure whatever you get them will be received with thanks.
Assuming you and the boyfriend are giving a joint gift?
He should know what their likes are and after 2 yrs you should too.
This Link will give you some ideas for shopping locally since you don’t have much time to get them a gift.
30th is pearl, you can go into card shop and get 30th wine glasses or something
Get your boyfriend to help you with this – buy a nice photo albumn then make an albumn up of photos of them – (if they dont already have them – do they just have photos chucked in the attic in a box somewhere?) choose the best ones and make a nice albumn for them – they’ll love looking through it!!!
I think the suggestion of a newspaper dated the day they were married is a really good one. I did this for my husband’s uncle & aunt some years ago and they seemed genuinely appreciative.
Remember, after thirty years they have probably bought, used and thrown away a lifetime’s worth of “stuff” so the gift can be something totally useless but interesting and not too personal (like jewellery would be).
The newspapers come in a lovely box and are in mint condition so they really do look like a nice gift…
They are readily available on the Net (google “Vintage Newspapers”) and you are a bit short of time…
a really good quality bottle of champers, and a lovely bunch of flowers from jamie aston or jane packer for the mother, it doesnt have to be a joint thing it can be something seperate, or you could arrange with your fella to take them both out for a meal to celebrate!!
Work together on this one … they will LOVE it!
Here’s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two, they, family and friends would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating … you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
pay for a weekend away for them thats what i would like its mine in october so if you know my boys tell them
