Buy him something memorable, like a piece of jewelry. A nice watch is good, or maybe a necklace (if he’s a necklace wearing guy) or cuff links to wear with his suit.

A really nice watch. Maybe with an inscription. Fancy cuff links.

some nice special cufflinks…… my friend got a picture of herself in a naked but classy pose……it doesn’t reveal anything but you can see she is naked (think she is kneeling down and it’s from a side view….didn’t ask to see it :o )……erm, not really my thang, but it worked for her!

Most people buy watches for their Husbands, but it’s not always applicable especially the man in question doesn’t like to wear fancy watches! Just get something that will mean something to him – something he would love, but cannot justify spending on himself.

cuff links or a flask…those are both really common. jewelry is always good. i like the watch idea but me..personally…i would make my fiance a scrapbook filled with our pics and memories and a poem talking about the first chapter or something like that!

I bought my hubby a silver yo-yo with his name and our wedding date on it. Something small, but personal. Bought it on-line…see link…

something engraved with the date of your marriage, and I love you. Maybe a lighter if he smokes,a cigarettes case,if not an id bracelet,or signet ring or just a home made certificate on the computer.eg This certificate declares I ….. will love you till the day I die etc, wont cost anything but could mean more than a thousand words.

A piece of Jewlery, or some lovely keepsake

Don’t buy him anything. Most guys are really worried about how their lives are going to change after taking that step. Write him a letter that reassures him. Or- arrange some kind of guys weekend a couple months down the road (tame of course) and that way he knows you will still respect his separate life as a part of him.

Some ideas are a nice watch or clock with the date engraved. I think I may be giving my fiance some nice cologne and will get myself some to match. We would then only use this on our wedding date and future anniversaries to bring back the memories.

    Believe me.

You sound a lovely person & I wish you both lifelong happiness together.

I agree that alot of bride buy watches for wedding gifts to their new husbands, thats great if he wears a watch. If not, think about something he really likes, like if its baseball, get him somekind of signed baseball card that he will flip over. Or Nascar fan, something that a nascar fan loves (sorry, cant think of anything for that one! smile) My husband loves to read, so I got him a First edition book by his favorite Author, it was signed on the inside cover.

I am getting married and have just bought my fella an unusual but heart-felt gift! I have got him the cd of our first dance and had it framed with our names and the date of our wedding on. The border is also in the colours of our colour theme for the wedding.

Hi – when I gotmarried last year, I bought my hubby a pair of cufflinks and gave them to him the night before so he could wear them on the day. He got me a race car experience! So its really up to you what you get, but dont go over the top – £50 MAX I reckon. Have fun! Itll be here sooner than you think! Hugs, Bex x

I am buying my fiance a puppy! He has wanted a dog for as long as I have known him, so I thought now would be a perfect time to get him a furry friend.

Why not get a gift that will special to only him. Ask around to see if anyone knows of anything he has always wanted. It will be a lovely surprise for him and your thoughtfulness will not go unnoticed!
